Update on Mortal Kombat Rebirth

Last year a 7 minute long video was released on the web depicting a possible new Mortal Kombat movie. The style was greatly altered and so were the characters. No one knew if it was just a short film, a faux trailer or a pitch to make it a reality. Well the answer has been revealed. Watch to find out.

@julio26789 in the short film, he said he let himself be arrested. As for the mask...an image has surfaced of him in traditional Scorpion garb

@Summon256 First off, Johnny Cage was getting his ass handed to him during the fight, so forgive him if he didn't look cocky enough for you. Sonya Blade was 26 in Mortal Kombat 1. Considering the violent environment that Sonya is working in during this clip, I wouldn't be surprised if she looked older than she is. Scorpion doesn't look like a ninja because he was in jail. Wardens generally don't allow convicts to dress like ninjas in prison. It looks unprofessional.

@Summon256 A rather violent answer, although I expected as much. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Don't sit there and scream about it being unfair. If its so important to you, grab a camera and make your own Mortal Kombat movie. These guys weren't funded very well when they filmed this; now that they are supported, Warner Bros. may actually help them. That would allow them to make it more un-real. Only time will tell. Oh, and I don't swing that way, so, no thanks.

im gonna watch whenever it releases & i can only hope that scorpion will put his ninja suit on, i cant wait to see this... Only sad part is Johnny cage shouldnt just get killed off like that & sub zero looks like Predator < Not cool i really dont care about any other characters in it,but i hope to see maybe Rain Ermac Smoke or Noob! .. in all i hope this will be good

micheal jai whites best movie was spawn, anyway I still havent seen the webisodes, can anybody tell me if they were any good, cuz I honestly think the preview has given it a pretty good take on the franchise, since 2 movies basically sucked. Also somebody tell me what the hell is wrong wit hollywood is it so hard to take a video game and 80's cartoon and make it good (dragonball anybody) the story is right there in ur face, y make big ass changes when all u have to do is tweak it ALIL.

this version would have been better than the "legacy"

a little diverse variety would do MK some good.

there's only so much you can do with the same story aspect

before it all just feels too dull & copied. and straight up boring }x-(
