i flew on her twice to menorca in 2002 and to majorca in 2003 i luvd the dc 10 10 th sound of the engines is mint

:D I flew on this in like 2002/03 time when our Monarch airlines aircraft got grounded, They managed to get this My Travel DC-10 ready pretty quickly

C5 Galaxy sounds better ! Similar noise as the DC10 engines are derived from the Galaxys military TF39's.

The video was taken in 2003, the last year they operated the DC-10. It is a DC-10-10, don´t remember which one, could be G-TAOS which came pretty often, but for sure it was one of the Sunday noon departures to Manchester.
