I have the left handed model with a Luepold Mark AR 6 X 18 w/mildot on it and it is a tack driver. i shot it in my local gun clubs USBR 100 yard match and beat 8 out of 10 guys. With my hand loads it will shoot 1/2 moa easily.

Hey man... I have been searching and searching and searching for what scope I should go with... How much to spend... $200-$1,200... I only want Leupold... Im a glass snob...LOL But I think I found the one for me... Check it out if you ever need 223 glass again.
leupold mark ar rifle scope 3-9x 40mm mil-dot for about $350 and it should be good for 500+ yards... I cant wait for this long range SPR 223... Soon very soon...

I have the left handed version of this and love it. I pre ordered it before it came out and couldn't be more happy with it. I use 75 grain with it. the recoil is so low because of the weight most people can shoot ~1.5-2 shots a second and still hit within 5-6inch area at 100 yards. I highly recommend a bipod! it makes shooting almost too easy.

@joezbackwith2gatz I seen your video, and your rifle looks great & a bit heavy . I almost bought one years ago from wall mart. Some other money needs at the time held me back. Did meet Mr Wall mart/ Sam Walton himself in the gun department of all places. He was filling in for the store employie back there. Did not realise it was him at first. But seen his picture right after we was talking. He died not to long after that in 1992 ? A real nice guy. BTW what size groups do you get .Best, yl

@joezbackwith2gatz I was including the scope & mounts in that guess. That is why I was saying 11 plus's pounds, and lets not forget the bi-pod & sling. They get rather heavy fast with the extras things... One thing for sure you can ring out the hot loads with a long barrel like yours. I wouldn't want to hike 10 to 20 miles a day with one anymore.lol I would need a good friend along to help carry /drive I mean. Have fun, yl

@beaconstructs Thanks man... I was thinking about LaRue but I might go with the Burris... Thanks again.

im kind of a newbie to the ARs. I want to get a bull barrel for my gun. Is it fairly simple to apply? Or do u have to get an all new upper?
It shoots great. NO recoil what so ever on 55 grain. Will use 70 grain once I go through my 300 rds of 5.56's
