  • idk if i have a cavity but my gums swelled up like a bump and it bleeds to eat some time s at first i thought it was a sweet tooth

  • @rex452

Hmm... Sounds like an infection/ absest.

You should talk to a dentist about that Rex.

  • What method worked the best?

I have a cavity the size of my tooth and it's wobbly too. It's swelling up my gum and I tried brushing my teeth like 100 times and no good. I am only 13 years old and I'm not sure if I should see the dentist or wait for it to come out. It's deep in my gum still but it's wobbly weird idk ;S

    Please help!

Sadly nothing on here helped that you can try.

I smoked clove cigarettes and put raw garlic on the area that hurt for

a while and I brushed and washed my mouth out alot with strong stuff.

Also I took alot of ibuprofen for the pain and I drank alot of alcohol which helped. Vodka really killed the pain big time. But since you are 13 ... I don't know what to tell ya everyone gave some great advice, try some of their methods I am sure it will help.

  • it might be your wisdom teeth, i'm actually going through the same problem awaiting extraction on monday, if i were u i'd go out to a local store like 7/11 or some gas station, look for extra strength pain killers/pain relievers, don't take ibuprofen cause it does not work, buy extra strength pain relievers and maybe oral pain relief gel

  • I blew off my surgery and am just dealing with the pain right now. Ibuprofen so far is helping alot but I think I am going to look for the pain reliever.

Also I know this sounds weird but eat melon. It helped kill my pain for an etire day. :)

  • try a warm cotton ball and bc powder and put it on the teeth keep doing it till the pain go completly away trust it works if not then u need to go to the densit hun

  • When you get a dry socket after an extraction, and you head to the dentist in tears because the pain is so intense...he packs it with Clove oil and gauze and instant relief. All these ideas are decent and some even work... but Clove oil is the easiest and most effective pain killer for almost any type of tooth ache or pain. 5.99$ at walmart pharmacy, BUT, I would suggest paying a bit more for Eugenol which is a clove oil product with antiseptic built in to cope with any infection.

  • sad face because its the middle of the night and i dont have any of that stufff :(

  • @n1t3ang3l ibuprofen is not hhelping me i hate toothaches

  • CLOVE OIL!!!!

  • Clove oil

    rub it on your tooth

    it will numb the pain

for as long as you like

you can get it from your local chemist or clove leaves from your local supermarket

  • also if a pharmacy recommends "hurrican don't get it its crap doesnt work and cost double what red cross does
