He's very good but he just looks so damn emotionless. He doesnt look happy or sad or even somewhere inbetween. Its actually quite weird.

I loved it. As for the facial expressions, of lack thereof, I also loved it. Sorta like the pianist version of Irish step dancing (i.e. Riverdance), where the upper body is emotionless and all the action is below.
