How many shows has this dog won in the UK ?? he looks a lovely boy...he seems to have a great side head profile...but his head does seem small in this video !??

Hey EBTerriers, Thanks for your inquiry. We only traveled to the UK once where he was awarded a reserve CC at Cruft's under a judge that dislikes red dogs.

We have left the winning up to his son grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A few of them have gotten pretty good at it also. As you no doubt are fully aware of.

Out of curiosity would you prefer his head or a Tucan?

LOL Who am i to knock him ,,,he obviously has achieved so much...its all personal taste at the end of the day...but as you know the UK has the best bloodlines...so it would of been nice to see him up against some of the stronger competition !...i think in the UK he would of done well but that funny chest he has might of let him down !

That funny chest is one of the virtues that helped make him, to quote many a breeder judges critique, the "100 year dog"!

But your entitled to your opinion, what do they know?

@bullful Thanks so much! We met another Rufus grandson who also was red and white(feisty) working on his grand champion status. He looked very much like grandfather, and since he was red/white, quite a thrill. Schatzi and him are second cousins I think, which is great in itself. We did well I think, second(Thursday) and first(Friday) in the Terrier show, and third(Saturday) and first(Sunday) in the all breed show, all open class competitions. When he loses his shyness, he will be much improved!

Yeh Rufus! What a handsome/beautifully mannered boy. Have loved him from afar since I saw him win in 2006. My first Bullie is the same color, but a different old style bullie look. Our next Bullie Schatzi, came from Silmaril, and was told that Rufus is his grandfather. I looked at his paperwork and didn't see the name Rufus. I thought it was a misquote from the breeder. Einstein was the great grandfather, and reread the AKC paperwork and found that Rufus was his grandfather, yeh!

very beautiful! nice egg shaped head. i have a carbon copy of rufus, but his head is more of a terrier. love their spirit! playful, flirty, pushy enough to show character+. once a bully = forever a bully! this is our 3rd, all rescued, no problems at all. smart asses!

Met Rufus and his ownwrs last weekend here in NJ. Wonderful people and a beautiful dog. God Bless them! Rufus is AMAZING!!!
