  • Was this a 763ER or 763D. I only ask because i see the PTV. You'd think this would be a ER verison because those verisons are for longer international flights. not cross-country hops.

  • @bryanb16th I think it's an ER. Delta probably uses the same planes for international and domestic flights but I don't know exactly how their aircraft scheduling works. I don't think it would be the same situation in Asia where some airlines use 747s and other large planes for short but very crowded domestic flights. Maybe this plane flew from Europe or some other international destination the same day before I finally boarded it in Atlanta... who knows.

  • @evilshowerhead 747's are used for domestic flights in the US and stuff. I only know that it's used on the SFO to LAX route for the US I don't know about anywhere in the world beside asia.
