Jan. 2010 Taupo track day crash

My first MotoTT track day in group 1. Start of lap 3 of session 4, misjudged a slower rider's corner speed, got to close, grabbed front brake, bam! When I first saw the video, I thought maybe I'd bumped the rear tyre of the bike in front, but looking at it in slow motion, it looks like I was too far away. Which is a good thing, 'cause now I only have to feel bad about getting too close and taking myself out.

No damage to me, the bike got some more scratches, broke the front brake lever, bent the rearset and snapped the end off the rear brake pedal.

bike is an 1999 sv650s.
