Purdue creates animation of 9/11 attack

Christoph Hoffmann, a professor of computer science and director of Purdue's Rosen Center for Advanced Computing, a division of Information Technology at Purdue, says the animation reveals more information than could be conveyed through a scientific simulation alone.

@Terfew 9/11 was a massive Terrorist attack on America about 10 years ago. Two Jet liners ran into the World Trade Center buildings in lower manhatton, causing massive fires that burned the steel making the towers fall. The Twin Towers are the World Trade Center, and they are rebuilding them as we speak. Two other attacks were on September 11th, 2001. I think every american has a right to know why were fighting Al-Queda and the Taliban. Cause of this event. Hope this helped!

@HunterCressall however they have not rewritten anything new at all.. there is no actual structual explaination for what happened, rather they have shifted to a wow we are not as smart as we thought we are and everything still applies the same but impossible miricacls can happen in USA when your country is owned by banks and cannot live without middle easten oil, simply cannot exist without it in thats a fact.ooo also usa leaders can be oil tycoons and associates thats a big problem too..

@HunterCressall watch it many times actually as my uncle owns a demolition company and i worked for him for several years. watch building 7 fall and it says it all really. but wont matter what proof you put in front of people such as yourself you have already decided that my government would not do that. first steel and concrrete building to collapse due to fire in world history and was previously considered impossible, these 3 buildings have rewritten the book but the old one is much better

I'm just replying and I'm over people trying to make something sound complicated, yet forget completely leave out the most important and obvious flaws to there theory.. its simply impossible to make the building implode the way it did with out using explosives.. nothing fancy about it.. it may buckle tople over a bit but certainly not implode at near free fall speed and pulverise the concrete like it did & knock out beams all the way down.

If you truly believed any of this - which you do not - you would be polite and clearer in your assertions. @KungFriedChicken You have obviously never witnessed a structural collapse. There is a huge difference between a catastrophic failure of a vertical beam and a shape charge detonation. Shape charge detonations aren't visible. Concrete scattering is what's visible and that is also what was visible in the WTC.
