The longing for the Supreme Entity is like the ocean wave longing to touch the land. Again and again, it comes up and goes down. Again comes up, never ending.

  • I'm very happy that you love it too. Thank you for your inspiration.

  • Namaskar!

Here jiivana'sava is one word from "jiivan" + "a'sava". A'sava means wine literally and the spiritual inner meaning is bliss or a'nanda. There is no "r" at the last of "jiivana" in the Bengali lyric book. I had same understanding like yours about this sentance before. After the book of "Prabha'ta Sam'giita selected songs part 1" published, one friend explained me, then i came to know this.

Thank you very much for your sharing.

  • I thought jiivanar' sava, meant

    everything in my life.

    jiivanar (of life)

    sav (all)

  • I loved this song, it was one of my favorite samgiitas. thanks for doing this.
