"Buy this biscuit" As my brother would say. I would probably give it a 7.5/10. Great game, and I hope they bring the sequels here too. Thank you Ubisoft!

This year marks the 10 year anniversary of Tenchu. And I was surprised to find out that Acquire has taken over once again. Acquire and FromSoftware have combined forces to make a "Tenchu unlike any before". This is the information I got from gameplay.net and gpara.com ____ The FromSoftware managing director, Eiishi Nakajima states "Acquire has assembled the original staff to create a totally different 'Tenchu'". Tenchu 4's Japanese release date is Oct. 23. The best news so far is Mr.Steve Miller of Ubisoft was on hand, and revealed they will be overseeing Tenchu 4's western sales. "This series is supported by many fans, and it is certain to make our company lineup all the more attractive."

Thanks to FromSoftware, it seems Acquire won't drop the ball on this project (unlike Shinobido and Kamiwaza). Tenchu 4 apparently takes place 1-2 years following 'Tenchu 3' (Wrath of Heaven). Rikimaru is 28, 9 years older than when he intially appeared (??), and his new appearance reflects his increased age. Ms. Kaida Yuuko, voice of Ayame, said that voicing her character was like "being a stand-in for a movie. It really lends itself to a cinematic feel." Ms. Kaida added, "We have all kinds of endings this time, right? I want to beat the game and view them all!" There are multiple endings in this game.

By extinguishing lights, you can advance the darkness around you, and be able to effectively remain concealed. Tenchu 4 is also increasing the amount of hiding places in the game, and players can take advantage of geographical features such as ceiling beams, and walls. Rather than memorize a complex series of buttons, stealth kills are executed with the remote control. This allows the combat system to by simple and natural. This will allow first-time players to enjoy the series also.

Finally, Soprano Tomoko Shibata was on-hand to preform the main theme of Tenchu 4: "Yume no Fuchi"/Abyss of Dreams (?)

  • didnt tenchu 4 come out on ps2 and you got one extra girl

  • @pavle634 Technically, yes. But that wasn't given a number.

  • for ps2 , or x-box 360

  • There's no ps2 or xbox 360. The only thing you can do is buy it for psp, if you know anyone that owns one. Psp is supposed to be regionless

  • i got this game the cotroll system sucks

my fav. Tenchu game was tenchu 3 for PS2 and XBOX. i think the name was ténchu warth of heaven but i am not sure. Howver i hope activioson continuse the series again.

  • Tenchu 4 comes out for Sony PSP tomorrow. You might want to give that a shot if you want it without bad controls. I like Wrath of Heaven's story and graphics. But I can't stand the way Rikimaru runs. He runs like he's gotta go to the bathroom.
