"wildbloodydragon" happens to be right. I actually know someone who works in Rockstar and he approves that this car was supposed to be a Buick GNX.
He was also the person who came up with the name. And I'm pretty sure I know where he got it from.

For one, this is not the stock motor in the car. For 2, motors can whine without force injection. My 96' Ford Ranger whines a little before redline. And all it has in a snubbed intake, no silencer.
