"The Power of One: 9/11 Unity and Hope" - Poem "One" written by Dr. Cheryl Sawyer, music composed by ALFIO. This is a compelling tribute marking the 10th anniversary of September 11. As we honor and celebrate the lives of all those we lost, it is a fitting reminder that despite the tragic and horrific events of that day, the civilized world came together and won...against terrorism and adversity. ALFIO's contribution to the memory of these people comes in the form of music. When he first heard the poem 'One' by Dr. Cheryl Sawyer in 2008, he knew instantly that he had to put music to such beautiful words - and the result is "The Power of One". The voices heard in this recording are family members of those who perished at Ground Zero: (in order of appearance) Esterina DiNardo, George Reisman, Paul Pyoung Kyoum Kim, Marvina Baksh, and Alfred Jeffries, Sr.
