Mark you calendars for the "4th Annual Bear Valley Boulder Bash" on Saturday October 3rd, 2009. This fun event is held at the Hells Kitchen bouldering site, 4 miles west of Bear Valley, located a stones throw from scenic Highway 4 at 6,800 feet in the Sierra Nevada.
Experienced and novice climbers and welcome, including friends and spectators. It's a great excuse to pull, push and cheer while climbers do their dance on the scenic granite boulders. Plus 10% of the proceeds are donated to the Access Fund.
100+ climbs will be included in this years competition ranging from 5.6 to V10. $1500+ in cash and prizes will be awarded to top finishers in all divisions and categories.
