City of BARS - Budapest March 15 (Március 15)

Budapest, downtown - celebrating March 15 (anniversary of Hungarian revolution in 1848)
there were no politicians with speeches or whatsoever
still the security was on such high alert as if George Bush had been attending the opera or something like that ..
this has been the second time that the official and public national celebration of March 15 took place like this: with BARS and tough security (a baby's bottle of milk was confiscated too)
it used to be a PEACEFUL celebration - even during the socialism (like in the 80's)
now it's something else

Ott voltam az óvodás kisfiammal.Egy öregasszony sorban tördelte le a hurkapálcákról a virágágyásba tűzött kokárdákat. A biztonságiak közül senki nem szólt rá.Kisfiam sírva fakadt a látványtól, nem értette, hogy tehet valaki ilyet!
