Original version of Subterranean Hell from DoS...... woah.

Anyway, does anyone knows what is the third word in Mina's Japanese name? I never saw that (WARNING - KANJI = CHINESE)

THE NAME OF SOMA - HIS NAME OF ORIGIN.

來 (pronounced as Noi) = Come
須 (pronuonced as sui) = Must
蒼 (prnounced as Chong) = Pale
真 (pronounced as Zun) = True

If you make them together, it could mean "The next reincarnation coming is has "pale" experience in deciding the truth and the lie (the must could mean that there must be a reincarnation), which could actually lead to the events happened in Dawn of Sorrow.

GENYA ARIKADO

有 (pronounced as Yau) - Have
角 (pronounced as Gok) - Horns
幻 (pronounced as Wahn) - Illusion
也 (pronounced as Ya) - And.

It could mean that Genya Arikado is only an illusion, and have horns could mean his personality. In Aria of Sorrow, Alu- Arikado's personality is cold and makes you feel uncomfortable, which made what the horns means.... OR.... any other reasons. I don't really know, lol.

***NOTE : 也 can also be used as a word to finish up the sentence, and ppl use it in the old times. 也 could mean NOTHING here.

COPYRIGHT :

The theory above is done by me, please note that I know Chinese because I'm a Chinese and I take proper education. I did not reffer it to Castlevania Wiki.

  • picture at 1:11, where i could get it? I want it~

  • @DoubleSeed04 It is one of the DoS OST wallpapers from 2005-2006 if I am not mistaken. Try searching it, since I have forgotten where I found it, please find it yourself. Try your luck at wikipedia, I think it's there. If not, Google search.

    GOOGLE SEARCH.

  • hey man although kanji is equal to chinese in meaning but the pronunciation is different..

for soma, it is 来kuru 須su 蒼sou 真ma

and for arikado, 有ari 角kado 幻gen 也ya

The meaning is the same for the above words btw

sometimes the shape of the word is even different. such as来, it would be來in Chinese.

  • @nothing11329 Sorry for this really late reply. I know about the kanji stuff, since I know both Japanese and Chinese. But by instinct the first thing came to my mind was the Chinese wordings. However, I haven't thought of the Cruz thing.

  • Awesome Michelle!

  • Play this song while in The Aether in Minecraft... it's very fitting :)

  • As you know, soma was descriped as a Japanese in Japanese version but an exchange student in US/europe version. Kurusu is pronounced similat to cruz, so cruz is used in US/europe version.

Also tell you a secret. 有角, pronounced as "arikado", it is much like "arukado", alucard pronounced in Japanese. I think that's the reason he has such last name=]

and for mina, her name is 白haku 馬ba 弥mi 那na. 弥is written as 彌in Chinese.

    btw, the music is nice.

  • great arrangement more ambient sounding thanks for uploading :)
