This is all so true and helpful to show to people who try to tell you that depression doesn't exist.

@Kaylin Ryder,
You are NOT a "disappointment" & nothing was/is "wasted" on you! You should be supported, cherished & heralded; while remaining alive you are providing yourself (albeit involuntarily) to be of great svc to our species' current & future society.
I KNOW how heartbreaking these 'Clinical Depression' diseases ARE to live with, day in/day out. It's nearly impossible but please continue to remain alive; surround yourself w/emotionally intelligent, positive thinking, supportive folk.

@IWantOne (are you a Bongwater or 'Nick Cave Doll' fan? ; )
You have GOT to be joking! Do you actually BELIEVE that everyone on the planet who "work"s on their mental health improvement via the means that are possibly available to each individual will "sure"ly IMPROVE the severity, amount of occurances and duration of all of the eight types of Clinical Depression?!?
Damn, do I WISH your theory was correct...

@TRW4War,
Absolutely, there is very little in the way of ABSOLUTE SOLUTION or CURE for ALL in the practise of Psychiatry...which is hand-in-glove with health insurance companies, hospitals, physicians et al, pharmaceutical companies and therefore self-obsessed, greedy, capitalist so-called "Democratic" governments and societies. : (
We humans are so fucking arrogant, we left the most important and complex organ to study LAST!!!

Everyone should view and review the ever brilliant Ms. Ruby Wax's eight+ minute-long 'TedTalks' presentation from the Edingurgh, Scotland 2012 'TedTalks' event. 'Up/Down' is a good feature-length documentary film available to view on this site, however, it focusses on 'BiPolar Disorder'. The recent T.V.O. 'In Conversation With Allan Gregg' episode with Maragret Trudeau as his guest. Lastly, the Canadian television P.S.A. that is the MOST poignant piece of cinema I've ever experienced...it's SAD!

i didn't threaten you. it was meant toward dblim6 who thought to himself to speak to me as a child. therefore i relayed my rebuttal. though it may have been a bit archaic i believe it got the job done.

@Altair Bena'ehiya,
WHAT?!? I just defended your point out of benefit of the doubt and hope, now, I've just read your negative and threatening response. : (
Why respond that way, we're all trying to become more educated, understanding and compassionate here, right?
