  • Children with parents abroad working as caregivers should value them so much! They just don't know how painful it is working abroad/away from their love ones.

  • This is a very eye-opening video. Caregiving is a very difficult duty to perform. This is why caring for caregivers is very essential. To avoid too much caregiver stress, which negatively affects the behavior of a caregiver, caregiver supports should be welcomed. The use of assistive technological devices is a form of caregiver support. These devices offer great relief to lessen the amount of stress that caregivers receive every day.

  • @wheelieblind No it isn't. I started taking care of my mom at 22 when she had a stroke at young age.

  • She should have offered to take her mother the first day!

  • Annabell should pack up Mother and send her with the sister. Regardless of how much money she has to provide care in her home, her life will be impacted, and that would be a good thing, and perhaps the sister that is caring for the mother, would at least a opportunity to rest and get clarity ~ overwhelm is a terrible thing.

  • @wheelieblind Fuck you, asswhipe. You're going to be old someday. Who is going to take care of you? What a dumbfuck.

  • I said to mom 91, we are having a bedtime now. the extra hour in the evening I got over the exhaustion that almost put ME in the hospital. I understand the angry actress. you get tired and there is no one to relieve you. but always kind to the patient is what matters...this is well played. but annabelles character has a sister to fill in.

  • As caregivers, it is easy to forget about ourselves because of overwhelm and being just so tired. It is important for us to care for ourselves as much as we can. Many caregivers health suffers because of the stress of our role. My sister, brother-in-lae and I have started a blog for caregiver support. At DesperateCaregivers we can share our experiences and learn from others who have been down the same path.
