In ancient Egypt, Radamès, a young warrior, indulges in the hope that he may be the choice for leader of the Egyptian forces against the Ethiopian invaders. He also fantasizes about returning victorious, and asking the hand in marriage of Aida, an Ethiopian slave of the Egyptian King's daughter.

The barren, "minimalistic" production by Bendersky & Grimblat, divest of the splendour and lavishness usually associated with the staging of this opera, was performed recently at the Teatro Roma in Avellaneda, a town neighbouring Buenos Aires, Argentina

La producción de Bendersky y Grimblat, despojada y de trazos minilamistas, alejada del esplendor y la pompa normalmente asociadas con esta ópera, fue montada recientemente en el Teatro Roma de la ciudad de Avellaneda, Argentina

Que inmenso gusto me dió escuchar sus sobrias interpretaciones, lo felicito con todo mi corazón, no recuerdo cuando fué la última vez que lo escuché pero como ha crecido desde entonces,ojalá podamos invitarlo a presentarse en Venezuela. saludos.
