Pedal Powered AC generator

OK so it is a stretch to put this in science and technology; might be better classified and get more hits in comedy. It always seemed almost a crime to me to use an exercise treadmill where you consumed electric energy so you could exercise and expend more energy, all essentially wasted, except in the winter. My solution is to make a human powered generator that might be able to sell power back to the grid.
