@TomatoeAssassin oh god me too the books were great i loved the one with the the next generation crew in the dominion war. I personally think tng was disgusting it was like fucking csi: enterprise fucking boring. The book i refer to is part of the tales of the dominion war series: Behind enemy lines & Tunnel through the stars. They were so amazing would have made amazing movies. It's got ro laren, taurik, sam lavelle and picard alond with heaps of others.

DS9 was the darkest of all the Star Treks. I think that's why I liked it so much.
It started out slow but once it took off there was no stopping it.
I was hoping they'd make a few movies for theatrical release.
