So basically what feminists are saying is that if you aren't fond of math or it's difficult for you, your an idiot. I think that's more harmful to self esteem than what barbie said.

While I agree that some math classes are tough, as a math professor it just makes it that much harder to excite my students on the subject, when even Barbie whines about it. Suck it up doll, no one promised everything was going to be easy.

The lesson that Barbie teaches is to just forget everything done for you to have the rights you now have, forget those that sacrificed their lives and/or livelihoods to let you have the options you have today. Instead of being what those sacrificed themselves for, just go buy a party dress.

Math isn't that tough once you figure out the logic behind the equations and break it down into smaller steps. I actually find English more difficult, and this is coming from a "girly girl".
