In a press conference yesterday, House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) repeated his call on the president to allow General McChrystal to come to Congress and testify about the next steps in Afghanistan. Boehner said:
"Now that President Obama has received General McChrystals request for more troops in Afghanistan, the timing of his decision becomes even more important. I respect the fact that the President wants to make sure that our next steps in Afghanistan are the right ones. But unnecessary delay could undermine our opportunity for success. And I also think it remains essential that the White House allow General McChrystal to come to the Congress to outline the situation in Afghanistan, the challenges we face, and his strategy for success. I think his testimony is essential to help Congress make informed decisions about our mission in Afghanistan, which the President himself has called the central front in the war on terror.

After just 10 days as president, and he hadn't even started his world apology and genuflecting tours!!! Is this the 'new' Chicago way with such a stealth nomination. I wonder if the committee got an offer they couldn't refuse.

Has nothing to do with color! It has to do with the demoralization brought on by political decisions based on a one world system being installed as we chat!
