If you watch my deviantART account, then you might be familiar with a picture series I call "Yoko's Underwater Bench", where Yoko Littner from "Gurren Lagann" sits down underwater with a few of her friends. This video shows how to make a picture such as this, from uploading the stage in MikuMikuDance all the way to touching up the bubbles in GIMP. It's not a perfect how-to, but I hope you at least get the basics of it.
