"Ca vient de la rue" ("That comes from the street") is a song from the IAM's fifth studio album, "Saison 5" ("Season 5") (2007).

Small glossary :

-Ronaldinho = Brazilian footballer who plays for Milan and the Brazilian national team. He is widely regarded as one of the most gifted footballers of his generation. He is a free-kick specialist and has exceptional dribbling ability.
- Jamel Debbouze = French comedian and actor of Moroccan descent. Very famous by the Fench youth, he easily may consider like the French Chris Rock, but mixing between comic and serious roles. He made an appearance in Spike Lee's movie, "She Hates me" and performed a sind with Snoop Dogg in the Asterix & Obelix: Mission Cleopatra's soundtrack. He shared the prize for the best male performance at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival with Samy Naceri, Sami Bouajila and Roschdy Zem for "Indigènes" ("Days of Glory" in the United States).
- Patson = comdedian from the Côte d'Ivoire, member of the Jamel Comedy Club, French comedy TV show produced and animated by Jamel Debbouze. He is famous for punctuating his jokes with a dance saying "Leg play, it's free"
- Courvoisier = French brand of cognac. Although overshadowed by the dominance of rival cognac Hennessy within popular culture, the song "Pass the Courvoisier" by Busta Rhymes and P.Diddy cemented the cognac's place as a status symbol within the hip-hop community.
- The Restaurants du Cœur (far more commonly and familiarly known as the Restos du Cœur; "Restaurants of the Heart") = French charitable organisation, the main activity of which is to distribute food packages and hot meals to the needy. It was founded by the comedian Coluche in 1985.
- Emmaüs = homeless charity founded in France in 1949 by the priest Abbé Pierre. The organization's goals can be found in the Universal Manifesto of Emmaus International: "Our guiding principle is one which is essential to the whole human race if there is to be any life worth living, and any true peace and happiness either for the individual or society: Serve those worse off than yourself before yourself. Serve the most needy first."

  • traduction bourrée de fautes !

  • @RawlistikMusic Peux-tu dire où, STP ?

  • @RawlistikMusic C'est pas des grosses fautes, y'a bcp de francicismes. Tu peux pas traduire mots pour mots. Y'a bcp trop de "the", par exemple : "The prods, the steps, the techniques and the dances, the sport, the dresses, the waves and the tendencie... ".

  • I cant even begin to tell you how hard it is to get an IAM shirt or something like that out here. Hell, you cant even find IAM on US iTunes. It should be a crime for IAM to be so damn inaccessible in the English speaking world..
