Buddhists prostrating outside the Jokhang Temple in Lhasa, Tibet. This temple is considered to be the center of, well, the universe in Buddhism. They will do this from 8am to 10pm as often as possible.

  • @shopaholicS2 in Karma Kagyu lineage, the mantra is "Palden Lama dam pa nam la kyab sun chio / Yidam chilkkor yi la sok nam la kyab sun chio / Sangye chom dem de nam la kyab sun chio / Dam Pai chü nam la kyab sun chio / pag Pai Gendün nam la chyab sun chio / Phawo Khandro chü tsok sung mat sok yeshe shi, chendam dem pa nam la kyab sun chio"

  • what is the most common saying people repeat when they prostrate?

  • You are just sheep to your evil moon god,

We buddhists are becoming unlimited buddhas *

Prostrations are for cleaning of the energy channels...

  • muslims's the best.

  • So, instead of putting their patootis up in the air like Muslims, they actually stretch out flat.
