I think there might be a few different words for Even Strength goal, because his first goal was a power play goal, so that might be what the announcer was tryin to get at.

When Tavares scored this, Howie Rose said it was his "first [something] goal." I couldn't really hear what he said. What did he say? It almost sounds like he says his first own goal or his first home goal, neither of which make sense.

not sure if he said OWN goal, I heard it too though....if he said OWN goal, he probably meant his first unassisted goal. Either way....what a shot eh? GO johnny go
