@dumpster3403 I grew up in the Detroit area in the 50's & 60's....This brings back memories of my running home from school at lunch time to have lunch with Soupy! White Fang and Black Tooth were my favorites but I've been unable to find a clip with Willie the Worm who lived in a tiny trailer on Soupy's table. He would poke his head, (someone's finger), out of his trailer window, sneeze and say, "I'd like to say Happy Birthday, to Bobby, Jimmy, Sue and Lisa"....Thanks for the memories.

hello all, high school history teacher, was teaching about the evolution of TV and the different shows that came about in each decade, i talked about soupy sales, and showed some videos and then talked about the banana spilts and then my show i grew up with Wallace and Ladmo, then entire class was laughing and having a great time. one student raied his hand and said,"we got shit for tv now" not one student disagreed i was proud to teach the class this and other great shows. take care all.

I always loved Soupy as a kid. We could only pray for a show this funny, hip and imaginative today.

It always cracked me up that we only ever saw White Fang's paw.

I felt very privileged to have been in the studio a few times when the show was on the air. My father used to do the sound effects right on the studio floor. I was even mentioned on air a few times. One of my best memories is when Soupy had removed the blanks from the gun that was used for the sound when Soupy was hit in the face with a pie. When the gun just clicked then crew broke out laughing. I still remember most of the crew and how Soupy interacted with them.

@rty1955 Sir, it is a privilege to have your posts and commentary on this site. Like so many people who've shared their experiences here... Soupy was a large part of my childhood. I can't imagine what a wonderful time you must've had actually being in the studio during production. Best regards... D.
