You can't ignore the facts that Bush and Cheney not only opposed the 9/11 investigation, but intentionally thwarted investigators efforts to uncover the truth by wrongfully classifying and redacting critical information or refusing to produce documentation at all in some cases. The CIA, NORAD and the administration has also been found to have lied on several occasions. Bush also denied funding requests by the commission so they could complete the investigation. This is obvious cover-up efforts.

Whittenburg's assurances are based on his long experience as a pilot. He's saying that THESE men and THESE planes didn't do it, and I am inclined to believe him since I have questioned pilots (Air Force and Navy turned commercial) who have concurred with Whittenburg. Furthermore, The speed for crashing is not the issue, again, it's the altitude, speed and angle of descent, and control ability of the craft outside of its' operational limits in those scenarios that is at issue.

Kevin Ryan wouldn't intentionally place himself in the position of being fired over a public lie that he knew would have him in hot water. You suggest that he risked his entire career and new position for a lie he knew would be figured out the moment he sent the email and CC'd outside people...

Why would he lie about that? What would be his motivation? He wouldn't. He believed he was acting in good faith and PROTECTING UL by asking for clarification on the matter. UL wanted to avoid backlash.
