X11 over SSH from Windows tutorial

This screencast details how to forward X11 over SSH using Putty and Xming. I launch Kate and Gwenview on my Linux machine, and use them on my Windows box.

Like you said, as long as we can agree that vi is better than emacs, we're good. As to your question, I would say vim simply because it has a larger feature-set.

By the way, you prefer VI to VIm? Or have you just been a *nix user so long, you actually remember a time when VIM didn't exist?
