How smooth is the gameplay with aa 4X? and you know that 3gb version of the videocard doesnt make a difference from the 1.5gb right its just marketing scheme.

vram wont go over 1.5 for games anyways.

@FavuQuad Smooth enough for me. As for the 3.0 GB card, I already know that, but it was the same price as the 1.5 GB one (based on a promotion they ran last year), so I figured 'why not'.

How many FPS does BF3 run at on Medium and how many does BF3 run at on Ultra on the Alienware you have?

@iMidNiteBoss With the newest Nvidia drivers, I get between 35 and 40 on Medium. About 20-25 on High. Haven't tried on Ultra, since High was already a little choppy.

@Jopsey @Jopsey It took a long time, because they were out of the 3GB video card I'd ordered. I was given false information on multiple occasions by Dell about it. To their credit, they put a rush on the production and overnighted it for free, but it took my threatening cancellation to get this treatment. Check the Alienware M14x forums on NotebookReview for a thread about order statuses...

dude tell me , did you had the same crash problem as my m14x ? game crashed and then some box poped up and said : Something about your video card with Direct x ?
