I'm proud to be born in Boston, the liberal heart of this great democracy. Your victim's families can sleep knowing that your evil is dead. Many will follow in your path, but America redefines itself with each new generation, and we will never run out of people who care. I hope we continue to become a better country, I hope we don't lose ourselves to our fears and bickering. Ideas are strong, yes, but only ones that run in parrallel with the human spirit. Peace, livelyhood, and the freedom to be who you are. These are things America stands for. Your outdated Sharia law oppresses women and confines the soul. Your methods are ugly and tragic. Afghanistan needs a hero to unite them in peace, to start building.

I hope this country(the United States) continues to strive to be the city on the hill. We are not perfect, but it is a special place to grow up, and their are many opportunities for a great life for those who notice. I think that more so than fighting for peace, showing people that full, healthy, and happy lives for average people is possible leads to peace. They need to see how life can be in a democracy. I Hope people stop listening to their religions, and start listening to their hearts.

I don't think inviting a superpower into an unsustainable war with drastically one sided casualties for ten years on the side of the people you claim to be fighting for, isany sort of plan. He amuses himself with the idea that no one can conquer Afghanistan, yet he forgets the mass amounts of people that this costs. We've gotten ourselves in trouble trying to solve unsolvable religious and civil disputes with brute force. I truly believe every American I know wants peace, even if it was in vain.

Now that he is finally dead, I think it is fitting for me as an American to reflect. On the one hand he sees US intervention as oppression, yet in the same breath it is American intervention he calls for against Israel and in support of Georgia, while he complains about American aid. I can understand any anger over dead children, war is hell. I hope he knew many more children died in reaction to his violence. He would have better served Palestine as a diplomat, violence rarely leads to victory.
