@ambush77 I really wouldn't call this "90's fashion". They still look fresh out of the 80s. Nirvana started the 90s look thing (a year after this aired). For those who said "miss the big hair in the 90's", that was just in 1990-1991, afterwards big hair was gone. Long, straight hair dominated that decade. Even the music in the opening is so 80s-ish.
Charmed is the 90s show. This show was still 80's-ish in the first years.

@niallio77 I know. Not to mention, the first episodes were actually filmed in 1989. They just happened to air in 1990.

@Nancy99999 Yeah the 90's didn't really begin until Nirvana made it big..

@bbbmoody No one was in their early 30s during the early seasons, most were in their early 20s and a few were in their late teens. The oldest was Gabrielle Carteris who was 28. The reason 18+ adults are usually cast to portray teens is primarily because 1) They have more acting experience and 2) there are less legal regulations for adults as opposed to minors (for example, minors can only work a set amount of hours per week).

I hated this show. I used to wonder why everyone at my high school seemed so young in comparison to these guys until I found out that they cast a bunch of late 20's, early 30's people to portray high schoolers... Ha, wtf?
