EyeCare 2020 LASIK Screening Process
LASIK Test 1: We will begin with a complete medical history of your eye and eye health to fin the vision correction strategy that best suits your needs.
LASIK Test 2: Refraction Exam - we will then perform refraction on your eyes. We will measure your current eye glass prescription and compare it with your current examination.
LASIK Test 3: The next exam is the PUFF TONOMETER to ensure that you have no glaucoma issues.
LASIK Test 4: PLUSOPTIX PUPILOMETER measures the pupil size in dim and dark light.
LASIK Test 5: ORBSCAN CORNEAL TOPOGRAPHY - this provides a thorough corneal evaluation. It enables Dr. Silverman to measure the anterior and posterior corneal curvatures and corneal thickness. The Orbscan Corneal Topography exam allows Dr. Silverman to evaluate your cornea for the correct procedure to take. Aside from thta it also detects if you have any corneal diseases.
LASIK Test 6: SLIT LAMP Exam ensures that laser vision correction would be suitable for you. The Slit Lamp Exam allows Dr. Silverman to diagnose the health of your eyes to be sure that you will receive the outcome that you are looking for with LASIK.
