ExtremeTech video that shows a WowWee Rovio mobile spy robot being piloted via thoughts, facial gestures, and head movements with the help of the Emotiv Systems 14-electrode EPOC EEG headset with built-in gyroscope. The heart of the system is Robodance 5, a free software program for consumer robot owners due out on May 20, 2005 (beta). The robot can be piloted with the headset from anywhere in the world you have a Web connection and are able to make a Skype video call since Skype is used as the backbone for a remote session. I like it! The mind control ability is very intriguing.

I wonder.......is there any correlation to intelligence in the effectiveness of the mind control aspect? Would a highly intelligent person be able to control it with less effort than a not-so-intelligent person?

@jnwpse - Go to ExtremeTech (see video links) and search emotiv. I have an article there on how to use the Emotiv SDK, assuming that's what you're talking about. The robot control and Skype stuff however is part of Robodance and I don't have a tutorial for how to create a program like that.

This is just fantastic! I can't wait for RoboDance 5 Beta. Wish I had a Rovio and Emotiv headset but no I can't afford it right now. But I have several other bots and plan to beta test for you next month when the RD5 Beta comes out. This is so cool! :)
