Berlin Raceway Finish - Benson Meeuwsen Thomas

On some of his off weeks of racing Truck (or back when he was racing Cup as well) Johnny Benson liked to bring a Late Model out to Berlin to race (Kenny Schrader, Tony Stewart and others have also driven the car but I believe this was Johnny).

This clip shows Johnny taking advantage of lapped traffic to go three wide and pass Ross Meeuwsen for the lead followed by the last couple laps where Meeuwsen made an aggressive charge for the lead which Johnny held off only to have Tom Thomas (I don't think this was his brother Scott Thomas) blow by both of them to take the lead.

I'm reasonably certain this time was Benson but I don't know for sure which race it was that Steve Wallace ran so you might be right.

I do know the race with Ken Schrader was the one the 10 car bounced off of Tim Devos for a number of laps running though. Those two were having too much fun...

on a side note, one of the best lm races i can remember. tom was amazing there
