Claire Danes

Celebrated as one of the most prolific and sought-after actresses of her generation, Claire Danes~who recently won the Golden Globe, Emmy, and Screen Actors' Guild (SAG) Awards for her critically-acclaimed portrayal of Temple Grandin in the HBO movie of the same name joined us this morning to chat about her recent film accolades and her role as Carrie Anderson in the television pilot "Homeland". In addition to her busy award-winning acting career, Claire also talked about her role as national spokesmodel for Latisse!

Award-winning actress Claire Danes recently starred in HBO's critically acclaimed Temple Grandin biopic based on the extraordinary life of Temple Grandin, a young autistic woman whose condition limits her understanding of people but gives her amazing insight into animals enabling her to become a renowned designer of more humane slaughterhouses. Claire won the 2010 Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or a Movie, and the film won the 2010 Emmy Award for Outstanding Made for Television Movie. Claire also won the 2011 Golden Globe Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Mini-Series or a Motion Picture Made for Television and the 2011 Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Movie or Miniseries.

Claire also recently finished production on the "Showtime" pilot "Homeland" starring opposite Mandy Patinkin.
