My first battle against my YouTube friend TheMustang.

Here I show my Water Absorb Team. Focused on using Surf to recover health via Water Absorb. He used a strange tactic on almost all of his pokemon. That either had Giga Impact, Hydro Cannon, Frenzy Plant, Blast Burn, and I think he may have had Hyper Beam; didn't see it though. I got hit pretty hard in the beginning not expecting those, what I call Blast Attacks, but it gave me the upper hand thanks, to the turn I get for free. Letting me set up with Poliwrath, and take out Tauros with Spacial Rend.

It was kind of embarassing to see Palkia get taken down by Eruption in the rain. What was worse was that I didn't know which nickname was which pokemon so I aimed at Sceptile when really I was aiming for Typhlosion.

I don't want to spoil anything else, so see for yourself.

I used Palkia, Lapras, Poliwrath, Vaporeon, Politoed, and Swampert.

TheMustang used Gigatron(Tauros), Raiza(Sceptile), Thestalos(Typhlosion), Arcanine, Gigaprime(Dodrio), and Mobius(Empoleon).

  • omg dude waterfall should of been used on typhlosion it shouldnt of made it to the end of this video and 2nd why use a water move on a grass-type? oh nvm i cant be bothered to give tips but its a waste to use substitute when all u need to do is attack the fire-type

  • @faithfulmonkey I got confused with the nicknames...<_<.

Substitute is useful for blocking attacks so Focus Punch goes off without a hitch...and why prioritize taking down a Fire Type who provides little threat to an all water team?

  • @Hydropoleon remember that type advantage isnt everything and a pokemon that isnt dead can still kill or cause damage.

  • @faithfulmonkey I know it isnt, but opposing Fire types should generally be left to the end when using an all Water team...as the majority of the team carries Water-Stab.

  • palkia sucks in general. I mean its a good pokemon but I hate noobs that pack there team up with legendarys because they cant win with non ubers.

  • omg rest

  • For the god sake...legendary pokemons is so depressing to watch...

493 pokemons in this game and still there are noobs using legendary...what a waste...

And now with pokemon Black and White there are 649 pokemons of your choice, and will still uses legendary pokemons...

  • What wouldve been more embarassing would be if Typhlosion was at 1HP

  • @mattsayerable of course water pokemon rule!

  • dude your whole team is water, lol.

  • @Hydropoleon

    You know your shit.

    Well done.

    +1.

  • @sundowniseeu if you ever come across my team, ill just say sorry in advance. my groudon, rayquaza, and kyogre can't do ANYTHING execpt battle. so if i do anything other than that, ill lose them, which i don't want.

  • You probably should have used Focus Punch on Sceptile, that's what i would've done. :)

  • LOL! the nickname: Raiza, thestalos, mobius

  • @faithfulmonkey its all about tactical thinking, u cant just run out there and attack without thinking first
