*******NOTE ABOUT THE LETTERS CITED******: The authenticity of the correspondence between the Caliph and the Persian Emperor has been questioned by viewers of this video. I cannot independently confirm its existence or accuracy. However, it is well known that Caliphs wrote letters to surrounding kingdoms inviting them to convert to Islam prior to Jihadist invasion. Perhaps the response letter was an embellishment by a later Persian nationalist... regardless of the exact wording it is symbolic of letters that WERE indeed written. The letter from the Emperor to the Caliph is a poetic work of resistance against Jihadist conquest. It matters not to me who wrote it. My thesis remains.

What's in a letter?

A lot.

Since the time of Mohammed, it has been Muslim practice to offer one's enemy the option of conversion before embarking on Jihad against them. In the last decade of his life Mohammed sent letters to the princes, kings and chiefs of most of the various tribes and kingdoms in the known world. This included Iran, The Byzantine Empire, Ethiopia, Egypt, Yemen and Hira (modern-day Jordan). If the leader refused the invitation to convert to Islam, the Muslims were religiously, legally and morally justified in declaring Jihad against that kingdom.

Though most in the West are not aware of it, this practice continues today. Such letters have been addressed to the US and our leaders by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Osama bin Laden. We ignore these veiled declarations of war at our own peril.

  • I hope someday that Iran can be free again.

  • @DaddyOD13 There is no contribution at all by the Arabs or islam to the world. It is true that Persian scientist like B-Sina and Raazi and many others who made a lot of contributions after Islamic period but those didn't have anything to do with the cult of islam or Arabs. It had everything to do with the individual scientists. The Arabs shouldn't take credit for it, but they do why? because of the restriction on writing in Persian in those days, everything were documented in Arabic.

  • Islamy can suck my d boyo

  • Great and amazing words from the Iranian Sha, way before being enslaved by isLame! Free Iran and the Iranian people from that cult of death.

  • 14 hundred years later, and those words are still true

  • @m3d2 Yes, long ago Muslims did invent many things.

And some of their inventions did help to build modern science.

But to say; "every single (bit of) knowledge and invention in (the) modern

world depend(ed) on "Islamic sciences" " Is ludicrous.

If anything, Islam eventually brought it's people into the dark ages.

While the west, by ending Christendom's power, was emerging from it.

Religion is a force for evil. Not progress.

  • @DaddyOD13

no it's history If you coz your ignorance don't knew that then that your problem and If it's your arrogance then you can ignore the TRUTH all you want, but it doesnt make it TRUTH

  • @m3d2

Every Bit of knowledge and invention in the modern world

    is from Islamic sciences? Wow!

Do they really teach that in your schools?

  • Religion should be accepted not imposed.. Advent of Islam was always conquering, or oppressing, the same happened in India n most parts of the world. GOD, whatever the name is, whoever the person, which ever the form is. The path is just love, compassion and goodwill. And every living organism has the right to follow its own path of love in a righteous thought or belief...
