Loreto
The Loreto Basilica of the Holy House is located in a square in the center of town and its interior is embellished with gold leaf, stain glass and ornate fixtures. The town of Loreto was develop around the famous Basilica and it houses the Santa Casa (the holy House of Nazareth) where according to tradition the virgin Mary was born, lived and received the announcement of the miraculous birth of Jesus. Loreto is a spiritual town filled with elegant palaces.
