im writing this for my grandad. he is ahlzheimers. he knows nothing about computers or modern technology. he always babbled about his days after the "great war" and the depresion. all the japs he had killed to save us from their terror and how he gave up after he had come home and was a hobo.He doesnt talk much any more but when i played this song for him he lit up and smiled and started moving a little. then he went to sleep and passed on

He won't be any time soon forgotten.And Arlo sings/sang many of his fathers songs as well.

Probably Arlo's children will continue to sing Woody' songs.

I'm sorry I just saw your post. I hope your Grandpa is ok and you are too.

My Dad made sure I learned the worde to a lot of Woody's songs before I was 5. He cried everytime a democrat won an election.
