im writing this for my grandad. he is ahlzheimers. he knows nothing about computers or modern technology. he always babbled about his days after the "great war" and the depresion. all the japs he had killed to save us from their terror and how he gave up after he had come home and was a hobo.He doesnt talk much any more but when i played this song for him he lit up and smiled and started moving a little. then he went to sleep and passed on

Fifteen seconds of unavoidable publicity for about 50.000 euros worth of friggin' Mercedes and then Woody. Wonder what he'd have had to say about that. Some tortured, sad mind posted that ad.

@tasedlak Yep - and as I say, unavoidable. Around 5 or 6 years wages (at least) for a minimum wage worker. Obscenity in the extreme.

Sorry to hear it, nondescript. I thought youtube gave users the choice whether to have ads before their vids, because I've chosen not to have them. Perhaps they are only inserting them when people watch them outside of the States. Either way, sad to hear you had to watch that tripe. However, I'm happy that you got to enjoy some Guthrie.
I know the advertisements cause you trouble
They cause trouble everywhere
But when you die and go to Heaven
You'll find no advertisements there
