The fight in Athens Dec 1944.
While Hitler was still in power and the war was on in Central Europe with British, Soviets, Americans and others on the battlefields, 50.000 British troops with heavy artilery and air force, start fighting against Greeks in Athens, allies now with Nazi's collaborators!
Already Chaurchill and Hitler had signed the only treatment among them. The treaty of Lisboa about Nazis free evacuation of Greece.
It was the pilote test, a paradigm worldwide for launching cold war.

With Varkiza agreement the fight was stopped. With this agreement EAM disarmed with the obligation of the government to don't be accepted members of Nazi's Security Squadrons in Government positions, army, police. The deal was not followed by the government and thousand members of EAM arrested.
