Does seem that way. Hopefully when he goes up a few levels and gets some better weaponry it won't matter any more.

I'd consider restarting, but it's taken me so long to put these together I'll just battle on through :)

You're going to regret making your Troubadour a weakling, as intelligence doesn't seem to be a prime requisite for the bard songs he learns. The Troubadour seems to be meant to be a first row fighter second only to the Berzerker. I'd urge a restart.
