Kevin's POV

"That could have gone better." I chuckled.
"I think it's cute." Hayley sighed. "It's like they're falling in love all over again."
"Because the first time went so smoothly." I mocked, wrapping my arm around her shoulder.
"Hey. I'm a romantic." she defended.

We'd decided to sit on the sofa while the two lovebirds worked out their issues. Nick and Riley had gone outside into the garden, taking advantage of the sunny weather.

"It's great she's awake." I ponderd.
"Yeah. It's been weird without her." Hayley agreed.

A strange tension filled the room. I'm sure Hayley felt it too, as she fidgeted with a loose string on her sweater.

"Maybe all the wierdness can be forgotton." I hinted, hoping she'd see where I was going.
"What do you mean Kevin?" she asked, turning her body towards me.

I took her hands in mine, and looked into her eyes.

"Hayley. Will you marry me?" I asked, nervously.

She sighed heavily, removing her hands from my grasp. I knew I shouldn't listen to my brothers!

"Forget it." I said, turning away from her.
"Kevin. Please don't be like this." she begged.
"Be like what Hayley. I thought you loved me!"
"I do love you. Carson only just woke up, now isn't the right time." she explained. "Why can't you see that?"
"I understand that she just woke up. I just thought you'd be as anxcious as me." I sighed.
"I'm not anxcious to spend forever with you Kevin. I'm excited."

She kissed my forehead gently, grabbing hold of my hand.

"Just be patient."

Carson's POV

So, this was Joe. He seemed oddly familiar. Not like Rick from my dreams. He was romantic and sensible. Joe was funny and awkward. He was disappointed that I hadn't gotton my memory back, but he was willing to talk to me, which I was thankful for. We were like complete strangers. After spending a couple hours with Hayley and Riley I pretty much rememberd them, but I'd known them way longer than Joe. He'd only been in my life a few months, but I'd made such an impact that he waited 2 months for me. That was commitment.

"It's weird huh? Not remembering me?" he asked.
"Kinda. You have all these memories of me and, I don't."
"I'll help you remember you know." he urged.

We were both sat on Hayley's bed - or was it Riley's - and the closeness of him made me uncomfortable. I scooted away from him and he looked frustrated.

"I just wish you trusted me." he sighed. "You never were one for trust." he chuckled.
"I didn't trust you?" I asked, curiously.
"Eventually. It took me a while to win you." he smiled. "Would you like me to tell you?" he asked.
"I'd love to."

I scooted closer to him and held his hand. This was nice. Not too much, but it made him feel needed. I did need him.

"The first day we met I kissed you." he smiled, obviously proud of this.
"So I'm a slut?" I giggled.
"It was very intense." he stated. "You weren't a fan of the band, but Hayley dragged you along."
"Typical." I laughed. "What happened after that?"
"I thought I wouldn't see you again. You ran away and turned up at a show a few days later. It was like my prayers were answered."
"Friends. We agreed to be friends." I recalled.
"You remember?"
"Vaguely. I know you didn't want to be my friend." I smiled.
"Your right. I wanted to be more, and eventually we were."
"Small talks on IM, just one word sentences-"
"It's cool we're just friends." he finished. "You remember the song I wrote you?"
"Everything's coming back. Keep talking." I urged, excited at my sudden rememberance.
"The night of my 19th birthday. It's when we became official, after I played the song for you." he explained. "That was the best night of my life."
"Then you kissed me, and everything just.....stopped." I smiled.

I squeezed his hand affectionatly and the awkwardness returned. He removed his hand from mine and scooted to the edge of the bed.

"Why'd you move away?" I asked, watching his face. His eyes seemed to glaze over as something hurtful came into his mind.

Sorry I didn't upload yesterday, but I was downloading a newer version of the internet, haha. Crazy Times!
I have been especially busy writing - along with shopping and exercising - and I have some great new ideas!!!

2. Tanning - I've gone from milk white, to tangerine within a week. It's seriously crazy!

I was asked today what I'd say to Edward Cullen if I ever met him. I couldn't think of anything! I did however create the original chat up line: Hey my name's Clair, and I'm DA LOON!
