Bad/Funny Barrel Run

PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION AND PLEASE COMMENT
hey this is a really bad run that me and my horse had at Rodeo camp. But hey she was a 27 year old barrel horse and a little tired and cranky that morning so I guess she figured it would be funny to have like four people trying to get her to run forward and not backwards. First turn was awful

u did very good thats usually what i get on my horse but he is four and has no experience :S but u should try hte tapping method its if they dont listen take a stick and start tapping there but until tehy listen

i have tried everything and last time i tried that or something like it and it scared her and she reared up so i eventually just started having people lead her in either them with there horse or on the ground and i have moved on to a different horse since this cvideo was made and ow she isn't barrel raced as hard and a little boy owns her and loves her to death.

She doesn't look like the usual Quarter Horse. What breed is she?

She is a pure breed Quarter Horse her color is buckskin grullo which is hard to find and she is 27 so she isn't as built as some other QHs are and her tail is braided and i had had to cut her mane cause it was all knotted so that was short to but other than that she is a pure breed QH

She did do great but we sold her cause i wanted to movve to a faster horse but i do miss her a lot

27 eh? That is AWESOME!! She's still moving so well, and it wasn't that bad of a run...better than the silly stuff I do with my old boy. Some people just don't get that some horses love running barrels and as long as they arent trying to hurt themselves doing it, why make them stop? I try and keep my old boy slow cause he would go balls to the walls if I let him...ha ha. Hooray for senior barrel racers. :)

@leviskybelle All i can say is keep your arm in an L (the point being your elbow) and sit good and quiet. other than that I would have to see you ride :)

great second and third barrel!! first one was a lil wide, but we all have those weird days! :) pretty horse!

a very nice run the first barrel a little wide but she is a wonderful little mare

my stepdads grandpa breeds QH and the horse i am going to use this summer is 22

she ran very well for an old girl like that
