Behind Bobby Trinidad is the late great Pablo Mozo, who had recorded with Mongo and others...I dont know what happend to Edwin Roland I too was jn Orch Versailles for 5 years .Edwin was replaced by my Bro Hector "Bucky" Andrade on timbales...
Miguel Cruz is a personal friend of mine for over 35 years. I broke his group out on KXLU radio in 1977 on my first radio show from Loyola Marymount with Eddie Lopez..I still have the cassette recordings from his live in the studio performance..Miguel does it all..sings, dances, plays his ass off, and entertains the people...sitting to Miguel;s left is also my friend back then Bobby Trinidad(U heard he became a Postman in PR), playing the flute is another ol friend Danilo Lozano,
The gentleman to the left of Miguel (in the white playing the conga) is Teddy Lopez. His father was a very famous musical director in Cuba, and Teddy himself played pretty good Percussion. Today he lives in Miami, but originally was from California. I believe he works for FedEx as a superviser.
100% correct. He is in Miami til this day, still playing, and he's a historian as well as a great msician. The gentleman directly behind him with the big moustache is Edwin Rolland. He also played with a group called Orquesta Versalles back in the 80's. He plays drums and timbales, and back then he was playing Changuito style timbale kits/set-ups cause he was bored of just playing the bell patterns and cascara. He was doing do those innovations before anyone new of or heard of Changuito
This is Miguel Cruz composer & creator of Miguel Cruz & Skins. An incredible & talented performer, born in Cuba, raised in Miami wrote all the original songs & music which became very well known in California, mostly Los Angeles. Played rock & roll with the some of the great, Rhythm & Blues, Jazz & Latin Jazz. Also had another original group "SugarCane Cruz" which traveled the West Coast in the early '80's. There has not been a group like it since!

These guys are FANTASTIC! I am forwarding this to every Cuban and not cuban in my list. I am sure somewhere in the future there's a revival of this!
