@eternalsilverlight agreed, i think singers as a whole should worry about extending both their upper and lower ranges, not just belting, but having a safe low range is also very important, most of the guys in my class could never dream of hitting D2.....they are such pullers lol omg im such a nerd...and yeah, about Mariah, she speaks like a tranny lol like that low, i think she could be either or, i dun care, she is not classically trained so no point

@KitsuneMale That's a different conversation altogether though. My point is alot of kpop Idols need to focus on some low notes.

@KitsuneMale And really I think she says she is an alto is because her speaking voice is low.

@KitsuneMale Her voice is too fast and bright in it's prime to be an alto. I thought so at first though but people with years in music begged to differ with her.

@eternalsilverlight no but it's not a matter of age, Aretha is a master, she was always a master, she was raised singing, she is a musician from birth, but you're right, what they lack is the training...but no, I'm sorry, Mariah is actually an Alto, she said so herself, her lower range is good bcuz of that

@KitsuneMale level that any woman can learn to support their lows the best way they can.
-
@KitsuneMale Not really. Cause I can pull up aretha video's from back in the day and her lower register back then was still crazy. Though it is different but I'm talking on a technical-
Oppa, please create Super Junior Lee Sungmin's vocal profile! He has a light and refreshing voice that soothes our minds out! Is Sungmin a sfogato lyric tenour as in it is a male equivalent of dramatic coloratura soprano? Tell me I'm wrong!

@RockingSoulLuvsSuJu as I said many times before, you can't really create a vocal profile based on a classical training if the singer in question isn't classically trained, pop singers are just pop singers, not opera singers ^ ^
