  • Right 1 Do not put the joint on the sink its the weakest place you should make it stronger by putting steal strips in the front and back rail. joint should of been moved to over to the gable to make it stronger 2 cut the tap hole in the factory you need to use water as the possabilaty of the granite will snap with the heat also your cutting rig will not last as long. But the template was ok and yes am a granite and template fitter in the UK and i fit up to 3 kitchens a day 5 to 6 days a week

  • @HighSchoolBabez09 what would be the best method.. regarding the the weakest point... what/where would be the strongest place for the joint... if you say that particular place in the video(sink area).. is the weakest.. where would it you out the joint if it is the strongest..

  • hey preety cool video guys..i myself work in a granite company in atlanta georgia and ive aleays wondered where they are actually made and how because behind the slabs it would say made i italy or brazil or canada !! all bundles would confuse me but now i see how it become bundle it come from different areas even though is the same name like st. cecilia crysta river or gallo vicenza or whatever but cool thanks guys video helped alot!!!!

  • @GraniteShorts I grew up highly involved in a granite factory, and i can verify that your joint isnt the best place. Maybe it may look nice and barely noticable because of the placement, but if you study granite you will know that placing the joint their is the worst possible place due to the granite being at its weakest point in that place. Putting pressure of the that area of the granite will cause it to crack and break. Granite is strong but not that strong.
