Over two decades ago, my dear friend, Julie, shared a story.
Her mother-in-law, Shirley was extremely excited that Madonna had written a song encouraging people to...Vote.
The song she had mistakingly thought contained such a noble message was, in fact, Madonna's mega-hit "Vogue" (one of my all time favorite dance songs, by the way).
Julie had to tell her that Madonna's song was just about...about?...Striking poses.
For me, this tale ignited a thought, which I put away for a future time, when technology would enable me to make Shirley's brilliant faux pas a patriot's reality!
