  • I tend to not pick up new comics because I HAVE TOO MANY. But I mostly pick up new comics off of friends' recommendations.

Also, to clarify, it's not that art isn't important, but if the story is good enough, I'm willing to overlook bad art.

  • It really is!

    YES!! WE!! ARE!!

  • ooh! Thank you! I'm happy that it's all one color and actually close to my original hair color!

I think my problem is that i hold onto comics for so long that i would rather have something to reference back to for a certain style or coloring or something. I read comics once and that's usually when I'm in the store so if i pay money for it, I better like the artwork.

  • YOUR HAIR IS DIFFERENT. It looks great. :)

I don't really read graphic novels - I tend to stick to manga - but when I'm looking for something new, I usually download the first couple of chapters and then go and buy it if I like it. I just think you need more than just a quick scan of the blurb and a flick through the pages in a bookstore before you know if you're going to like it.

  • That Nick Hornby book sounds amazing.

    And um, YES, WE ARE.

    Oooh...shiny art!
